Squares of Bliss



This is one of four quilts from the same jellyroll of Bliss fabric.  I love the fabric so much, that I used up almost every last scrap!  (The other ones are not finished yet)

  2. I will try to explain how I did this quilt, hopefully it will make sense. First I sewed the white square from the center to the pink strip, lining it up the bottom edge. Only sew this seam about halfway up the white square (leaving it to complete at the end). Then sew the green strip across the bottom, then the red strip along the side, and then the aqua strip across the top. Now finish the pink seam along the rest of the white square and the edge of the aqua. This will complete the block. Repeat eight more times to make nine blocks. I then used white sashing between the blocks and for a border. Bind with one of the fabrics to match.
